FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Tim Hall has announced that Dwayne Hicks will not return as the team's head coach for the 2026-27 season.
 
"We want to thank Coach Hicks for his service to Longwood and dedication to our student-athletes and the hard work he put in during his time in Farmville," Hall said. "We wish him the best in all his future endeavors. A search is underway for the next leader of the Longwood women's lacrosse program."
 
Hicks spent the past two seasons as the head coach after serving as an assistant for one season. He was the 13^th coach in team history.
