Justina Augustine's latest blog, she chronicles the off days the Lancers had to further explore the island of Oahu.
The squad had the opportunity to go snorkeling in Hanauma Bay on Tuesday, before visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center Wednesday and having the opportunity to experience a luau.
--By Justina Augustine Monday, March 2Again we woke before sunrise, but today it was for different reasons! Today was the first of our two off days and we wanted to make the best out of it by further exploring O'ahu!
We headed in buses to Hanauma Bay to snorkel and swim with the native sea creatures of Hawaii! Upon arrival we all dove straight in the crystal blue waters and began

the experience of a lifetime! We got the chance to swim and look at not only fish, but sea turtles and other animals!
Next we headed to Waikiki to shop and spend more time on the beautiful beaches! A lot of us shopped for the Luau that we had planned for the next day!
We were greeted at home by some of our parents and together we shared a BBQ dinner with laughter and music!
Tuesday, March 3rdToday, we started the day off with a very successful practice at the university!

After, we headed home to get ready for the Luau! Everyone got dressed in their Hawaiian attire and off we went!
The Polynesian Cultural Center was full of activities and beautiful scenery for us to enjoy! We got the chance to learn the Hawaiian dances, taste native foods, learn how to weave baskets/headbands, and a lot more! We enjoyed an amazing Hawaiian feast while being entertained!
Later that night we even watched a live show called the Breath Of Life! Tired from the long, activity filled day, we headed to bed, ready to play Oregon State Wednesday in our second tournament!
