FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University women's lacrosse junior
Karli Brentlinger/Gambrills, Md. (South River) has been named the National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) Player of the Week for her efforts in a pair of conference wins last weekend. Brentlinger scored eight goals with two assists in the two games. Brentlinger and the Lancers return to action on Wednesday, April 14, when they host Virginia Tech of the Atlantic Coast Conference at 4 p.m. at the Athletics Complex in Farmville.
Brentlinger scored five goals on 10 shots in Longwood's 18-5 win over Presbyterian College and added three goals and two assists in the Lancers' 15-8 victory over Jacksonville University. She has 33 goals and six assists in 12 games this season. Her 33 goals and 39 points are fifth-best in the NLC.
