FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood men's golfer David Lafreniere was named the Big South Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday.
 
Lafreniere tied for 13^th at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate earlier in the week which helped Longwood to a fourth-place finish as a team.
 
The junior tallied 11 birdies in three rounds, and he had nothing worse than a bogey at the event.
