FARMVILLE, Va. – The Longwood Lancers (1-5) hit the road to kick off Big South conference play against the Wofford College Terriers (2-7) on Wednesday afternoon. This comes after Wofford's two-game weekend standoff against Butler and ninth-ranked Clemson.Â

- Wofford leads the series 3-2.
- Since the Terriers joined the Big South in 2022, they have won three of the four matches. Wofford bested Longwood last spring 12-6.

Tackling the Terriers:
- On offense for Wofford, McKenzie Moeller (18 goals, eight assists) leads the team. Carlie Cutinella (16 goals, three assists), Kaityln Bellanca (12 goals, five assists), and Emma Stateri (16 goals, five assists) also have scored at least 10 goals this season. Moeller is fourth in the Big South for points per game.Â
- Currently, Katie Brosseau (five goals, 15 assists) is second in the Big South for assists per game.Â
- Vivian Chiomento (54 draw controls) has been the standout on the circle for the Terriers. Brosseau (16 draw controls) and Mia Leon (16 draw controls) assist Chiomento on the draw. Chiomento is third in the Big South for draw controls per game.Â
- Brooke Meltcher (23 caused turnovers, 52 ground balls) and Olivia Graebener (15 caused turnovers, 11 ground balls) lead the defensive end for Wofford. Meltcher leads the Big South in ground balls per game and caused turnovers per game. She also leads the NCAA in ground balls per game.Â
- Hannah Taylor (2-7) has been the goalkeeper for the Terriers, with 70 saves, 12 ground balls, and a 0.389 save percentage.Â

- Two sophomores have led the goal-scoring efforts for Longwood: Madison Rogers (14 goals, two assists) and Bailey Stratton (10 goals, two assists).Â
- Stratton set a career high in Longwood's last outing against ODU, scoring five goals.Â
- Rogers has scored in all six games played so far, with four multi-goal games.Â
- Sophomores, Alexandra Hirst (five goals, four assists) and Sarah Forman (two goals, four assists) have also played a role in the Longwood attack.Â
- Rogers is currently seventh in the Big South in goals per game.Â

- Longwood took down Old Dominion on Tuesday, March 17, 12-7 to earn a big win in their final non-conference matchup.
- Bailey Stratton scored a career-best five goals, and the sophomore scored all five in the first half.
- The Lancer defense also was excellent, forcing 23 turnovers and snaring 22 ground balls while never giving up more than three goals in a quarter.
- Stratton, meanwhile, tallied four goals in the second quarter alone as the Lancers stormed out to 9-4 lead at the half.
- In addition, Sarah Forman scored her first two collegiate goals, and Madison Rogers had her fourth multi-goal game of the season.
