STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Justin LaRue and
Scott Jordan led the charge for Longwood men's golf, and the Lancers are fourth after two rounds at the Rutherford Invitational, hosted by Penn State.

WHAT THEY SAID:
"As they always do, our guys showed a ton of heart and really battled their butts off today," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "I have not seen the hole-by-hole scores yet, but I know we started pretty poorly. After the start, however, we did a great job of digging ourselves out of the hole we had dug. That 'fighter mentality' has given us a chance to win the golf tournament tomorrow. To be honest, a chance is all we can ask for, and, when we have a chance, I like our chances."
