WHAT THEY SAID:
"I'm extremely proud of how our guys fought and clawed for everything they could get the past couple days," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "I didn't expect anything else from them. It wasn't always pretty, but we were able to stay the course and found a way to finish. As I told everybody after we got in the van, it's not easy to win college golf tournaments, but, the more times we can put ourselves in situations to do so, the better equipped we'll be to handle ourselves the next time. We haven't peaked yet. Our goal is to do that in late April. Still, it's very satisfying to know that all the work all of us are putting in is putting us in positions to have success."
