WHAT THEY SAID:
"I really have no words," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "Even though we played a number of solid holes, we also played a bunch of really poor holes today. In the end, it all adds up to a score we couldn't afford to post when you're trying to move on. It was certainly not what we expected."
"I do wish we had played better to, in the very least, extend Cam's career for another day," Fillman added about his lone senior. "He had a really good year for us, and I'm verry happy to have been able to experience it with him."
"The good news is that the core of our team is very young, and, if we can keep them all together, those guys should have a few other chances to contend for championships," Fillman remarked.
