BURLINGTON, N.C. – On Tuesday, the final round of the opening tournament of the season was canceled due to inclement weather for Longwood women's golf.
 
The Lancers had entered the day 11^th in the Elon Invitational, which is where they finished as the scores reverted to the completion of 36 holes from the opening day.
 
Two freshmen led Longwood, with Abigail Sheldon tying for 13^th while Chiara Wippert tied for 28^th in the 82-player field.
 
The Lancers return to the course on Monday, September 30 to open the 2024 Pirate Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina at the Greenville Country Club.
