HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. – The second golf tournament of the season has been canceled due to rain.
 
The Lancer men's golf team was midway through its first round of play on Monday morning, but the course steadily became worse and worse until it became unplayable.
 
The cancellation allows teams, if able, to gain the competition days back, should an opportunity present itself.
 
The Lancer men will be back in action at the Virtues Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30.
