WHAT THEY SAID:
Â
"I'm very pleased with our performance this week," said Longwood Head Coach
Megan Weaver. "We are hitting the ball well and made a few more putts today. We were dealt an unfortunate hand with the few groups that didn't finish round two yesterday; if the tee times today were as planned, we would have teed off hole one earlier. Instead, we ended on the front nine with strong gusting winds, making it a tough finish. We held fifth place for most of the day, and with a field like this, that's fantastic!
