HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Longwood women's golf improved round by round at the Low Country Intercollegiate, with the team's final round being four strokes better than its second round.
 
The Lancers finished 13^th out of 16 teams at the event.

NOTABLES:
 
The golf course was difficult all weekend for players up and down the 90 player field, with only two below-par rounds recorded over the three-day event. The Lancers were the best team in the field on Par 3s, shooting a tournament best +11 on such holes.
 
Ester Choi and Annabelle Jennings led Longwood and tied for 36^th in the field.
 
Jennings tied for the team lead with 36 pars on the weekend, tied for second-most in the field, and she was one of two players who shot below par on Par 3s in the tournament.
 
Choi, meanwhile, was Longwood's top player on Par 5s on the weekend.
 
Landis tallied 14 pars on the final day to move up four spots into a tie for 40^th.
 
Breanna Hoese climbed eight spots in the standings in the final round to a tie for 47^th, and Lauren Sims had two birdies while climbing nine spots.

The Lancers have one remaining match this spring before the Big South Championship in mid-April. Longwood heads to the ECU Invitational on April 1 and 2 at the Ironwood Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.
