Â
WHAT THEY SAID:
Â
"Obviously, today is about what Justin did," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "I sensed that something pretty good was happening because I usually ask him what he wants to know, and, today, he asked me questions several times before I could even say anything to him. There's a lot of people out here watching every time we play, and somebody will generally say something to me in these situations. Amazingly, nobody said a word to me until the round was over. I couldn't be any happier for him."
Â
"Teamwise, while Justin covered up a lot of lost shots, we did a number of other positive things as well," Fillman added. "I don't know that some of us got the ball into better spots today over yesterday, but I can say that, when we were able to keep the ball in good spots, good things happened on a regular basis."
