CHARLESTON, S.C. – Ester Choi stayed consistent all day, and the sophomore posted a 71 on the second day of the RiverTowne Invitational. She helped the Lancers shave two strokes off as a team, as Longwood shot a 298 to finish the day tied for 14
th in a competitive 19-team field. The Lancers are just five strokes outside of a spot in the top 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Choi was solid throughout her round and climbed up 24 spots in the standings into a tie for 31
st.
She fired in 15 pars, including seven straight to start the second day of the tournament. She had a pair of birdies as well as she shaved five strokes off her day one score.
Emma Landis held her spot and stayed tied for 17
th with a solid 73 on the day. She posted a trio of birdies along with 11 pars.
Annabelle Jennings fired a 75 and moved to a tie for 13
th. Her two-day total of 144 has her at even-par heading into the final day of the tournament, and she closed with a strong final nine holes.
Peyton Schaffer shaved off four strokes from her first round to finish the day tied for 85
th.
Grace Huffman finished the day tied for 98
th.
WHAT THEY SAID:
"The team played well," said Head Coach
Brittany Dabule. "Our goal was to improve on our team score, and we shaved off two strokes from yesterday's round. Hopefully we can finish out the tournament with a solid final round tomorrow and move up the leaderboard."

The Lancers play the third and final round of the RiverTowne Invitational on Tuesday morning. Tee time is set for 8:30 a.m.
