FARMVILLE, Va.  – The Longwood University women's lacrosse match at Howard University scheduled for Friday, March 30, has been canceled by the host school.  Officially considered a “no contest” by the NCAA, the National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) match has been declared a forfeit win for NLC standings only but does not change the Lancers' overall won-lost record.  Longwood (1-7, 1-0 NLC) will play at league opponent the University of Detroit Mercy on Sunday, April 1, in Detroit, Michigan at 1 p.m.
