RALEIGH, N.C. – Longwood University posted a 36-hole score of 306-298--604 Saturday and Sunday in men's golf, tying for seventh place among 12 teams at the Wolfpack Spring Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina State University and played at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina. The University of Richmond won the event with its 291-291--582 at the 7,241-yard, par 71 layout. Junior
Austin Gray|Midlothian (Monacan) led the Lancers with his rounds of 75-75--150 that tied for 19th in the field of 67, while MJ?Daffue of Lamar University took individual medalist honors at 70-69--139. Longwood will complete its 2010-11 campaign April 30-May 1 at the annual Cavalier Classic hosted by the University of Virginia at the Birdwood Golf Course near Charlottesville.
Gray was followed by juniors

Richmond was followed among the top-10 by Lamar (587), North Carolina (589), North Carolina State (596), Old Dominion (601), Maryland (602), Longwood (604), Binghamton (604), Francis Marion (605), and Louisiana-Monroe (612).
