SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Longwood University posted a 54-hole score of 297-290-304--891 Monday and Tuesday in men's golf, finishing in 11th place among 15 teams at the 23rd Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational hosted by Wofford College and played at The Country Club of Spartanburg in South Carolina. East Tennessee State University won the event with its 289-285-284--858 at the 6,648-yard, par 72 layout. Junior
Ross Sumner|Callao (Northumberland) led the Lancers with his two-over par 73-69-76--218 that tied for 15th in the field of 79, while Jacobo Pastor of Charleston Southern University took the medalist honors at six-under par 70-69-71--210. Longwood will play again this weekend, April 16-17, at the 54-hole Wolfpack Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
