Cara O'Brien|Arlington (Bishop O'Connell) with five goals. Longwood returns Wednesday, March 16 at 4 p.m. to face Richmond at the Athletics Complex in Farmville.
Adding four goals apiece was senior
Kesley Dean|Centreville, Md. (Queen Anne's) and sophomore
Jamie Brentlinger|Gambrills, Md. (Arundel). All of Dean's goals came in the first half, while Brentlinger split the halves, scoring two in each with her last goal at 11:22 ultimately being the game-winner. Dean also started the game's scoring and the Lancers never trailed, only allowing the Bonnies to tie it up three times at 1-1, 2-2 and 5-5.
Freshman
Mary Barondess|Centreville (Westfield) collected a game-high eight draw controls, adding one goal and three assists. Also with a multi-goal game was senior
Amanda Bereznay|Gwynn Oak, Md. (Setan Keough) who had three, along with two ground balls and one draw control.
Senior
Juli Liebig|Centreville, Md. (Queen Anne's) earned her third win of the season, making a game- and season-high 15 saves. Longwood outshot St. Bonaventure 32-23 and collected more draw controls (20-14), only turning the ball over a season-low three times.
