WALLACE, N.C. – Longwood University shot a final round of 319 Tuesday in women's golf for a 54-hole score of 951 (313-319-319) to finish sixth among nine teams at the Lady Seahawk Classic hosted by UNC Wilmington at the River Landing Golf Course in Wallace, North Carolina. Host UNCW won its own event with a score of 310-306-299--915 at the 6,012-yard, par 72 layout. UNCW's Carmen Perez-Narbon took individual medalist honors with her 69-73-73--215 among the 51 collegiate golfers. Longwood will not play again until hosting its own season-ending Tina Barrett Invitational April 5-6 at The Manor Resort Golf Course.

Kameron Carter/Bassett (Bassett) with her 76-78-76--230 to finish in a tie for sixth-place individually. Carter was followed by freshmen
Ha Lee/Hagerstown, Md. (Smithsburg) (77-84-82--243, t-29th) and
Ariel Witmer/North Lima, Ohio (South Range) (77-78-88--243, t-29th), junior
Brooke Mallory/Brockville, Ontario (St. Mary Catholic) (84-79-82--245, t-33rd), along with sophomore
Alexa Boucher/Orange (Orange) (83-84-79--246, t-35th).
Longwood was completing its fourth-straight day of competition, and second consecutive tournament after playing in back-to-back events hosted by UNCW and the College of William and Mary (March 20-21).
