WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Longwood University posted a final round of 318 Sunday in women's golf for a 36-hole total of 639 (321-318) to finish in a fifth-place tie among 22 teams at the First Market Bank Intercollegiate hosted by the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. The University of Alabama won the event with its 306-303--609, while the Crimson Tide's Rhea Nair took individual medalist honors with her 75-74--149 at the 6,174-yard, par 72 Blue Heron Course at the Ford's Colony Country Club. Longwood is scheduled to play again this week on Monday and Tuesday, March 23-24, at the Lady Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNC Wilmington in Wallace, North Carolina.
In Williamsburg, Longwood was led by sophomore
