Dee Warehime/Westminster, Md. (Westminster) who scored three goals and added one assist each. Longwood returns to action on Saturday with a rare double-header, hosting Presbyterian at 1 p.m. and Long Island at 7 p.m at the Athletics Complex.
Louisville (4-0) started quickly, putting Longwood (2-3) down 2-0 just 2:19 into the game. Longwood answered with Farmer's first goal of the game but Louisville scored four more goals to put the Lancers in a 6-1 hole with 17:00 remaining in the first half. Carlie Nethken/Hanover, Md. (Long Reach) to make it 6-2 with 15:12 remaining. Louisville went on another run, this one three goals over 3:28 to extend the Cardinals' lead to 9-2 with 6:24 remaining. Sophomore
Kesley Dean/Centreville, Md. (Queen Anne's) added a goal with 5:12 left in the first half to make the score 9-3 at intermission.
The Lancers came out of halftime and promptly started slicing into Louisville's lead. Longwood scored the first four goals of the second half, cutting the lead to 9-7 with 23:58 to go in the game. Warehime scored the first two goals of the half, while sophomore

Liz Sellmayer/Baltimore, Md. (Mount de Sales Academy) each added one goal. Louisville pushed the lad back two four with 21:47 to go. The two teams traded a pair of goals before Farmer scored back-to-back goals and Warehime added a third, making the score 13-12 with 5:52 remaining. Louisville responded quickly, scoring 11 seconds later and adding another goal with 2:13 remaining to build a 15-12 lead. Senior
Michelle Owen/Finksburg, Md. (Mount de Sales Academy) scored one goal with 2:01 remaining but that was as close as the Lancers would get, falling 15-13.
Farmer picked up five ground balls in addition to her three goals and one assist. Warehime scored her three goals on only five shots. Brentlinger was held to one goal, snapping a three-game streak with at least five goals. O'Brien tallied two goals while Dean, Nethken, Owen and Sellmayer added one goal each.
Longwood's 10 second-half goals are the most in a half for the team this season. Sophomore
Juli Liebig/Centreville, Md. (Queen Anne's) posted six saves and allowed six goals in 35 minutes in goal. Junior
Eliza Coughter/Charlottesville, Va. (Charlottesville) got the start and gave up nine goals in 25 minutes.
Louisville was led by Bergan Foley who scored six goals and Liz Lovejoy who recorded three. Sammy Allen added two for the Cardinals.
