FARMVILLE, Va. - Longwood women's golf opens the 2026 fall campaign at the Tribe Invitational, Sept. 7-8, on the Kingsmill River Course in Williamsburg.
The Lancers join host William & Mary as well as Georgetown, Le Moyne, Long Island, Marshall, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Niagara in the eight-team field. The tournament will include 36 holes on Monday, Sept. 7, with the final 18 holes on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

- The Lancers return to the Tribe Invitational for the first time since 2023. The season prior, Longwood placed fourth in a 10-team event at Kingsmill.
- Longwood posted seven top-five performances as a team last season, including capping the season with a fourth-place finish at the Big South Championships. The Lancers finished second at Lehigh's El Campeon Collegiate and third at the Mimosa Hills Invitational during the 2025-26 campaign.
- Junior
Madison Lehr returns after leading Longwood with a 75.07 scoring average in 2025-26. She recorded three top-five finishes and five top-10 showings during the year.
Lehr was the Big South Newcomer of the Year, All-Big South Honorable Mention, and a Big South All-Championship Team honoree during her sophomore campaign.
