FARMVILLE, Va. — Longwood women's golf head coach Megan Weaver announced the addition of four prep standouts for the 2026-27 season on Thursday.
Set to join the Lancers this season are Caraline Hartfield, Abbie Moore, Romy Wagner and Mai Wongvilaivarin.
"I'm thrilled to add these four freshmen to the team," Weaver said. "It's hard to believe we will have an even younger team than last year, but the talent is so much deeper and the potential is even greater. These ladies already have experience competing in Women's Amateur events, shooting even par or better in some cases. I'm excited to welcome everyone to campus in less than a month, integrate the team and start competing shortly thereafter."
Caraline Hartfield

Hartfield played high school golf at The Village School of Naples for four years while also playing basketball, tennis and lacrosse. She served as a golf team captain and its MVP for all four years.
Hartfield was named All-Area Golfer of the Year as a senior and first team all-area as a junior after earning second team all-area as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman. She won the district and finished fourth in regionals as a senior while earning a trip to the state tournament.
Hartfield finished seventh in the district and 19th in regionals as a junior after placing second in district with a regional trip as a sophomore.
The daughter of Brad and Kristy Hartfield, her father played basketball and golf at Louisville and professional golf on the Golden Bear and Nationwide Tours.

Millfield School
Moore played golf from 2019-26 for Millfield School. She was a team captain and earned full sporting colors for service to golf in her junior career.
Romy Wagner

Karlsgymnasium Pasing
Wagner was a longtime member of the elite junior squad of the Bavarian state team. She also won events on the Global Junior Golf Tour and has competed nationally and internationally.
Wagner achieved a World Amateur Golf Ranking in her junior career.
Mai Wongvilaivarin

Wongvilaivarin Played golf and softball in high school. As a senior, she qualified for the Singha Thailand Amateur Match Play Championship with a 71. She was the second runner up at the Junior Asian Tour event.
Wongvilaivarin won the TGA Singha-Krungthai with a 74-71 (Dec. 20-21) she was second runner up at ISGT (Nov. 17) with a 76. She also finished tied for fifth at TKG Central (Oct. 18-19) with a 77-74-75.
As a junior, she tied for 12th at the Singha-Krungthai Junior Golf Championship Qualifier to the USWING Mojing Junior World Golf Championships with a 76-72-75-72 (April 3-6, 2025).
Wongvilaivarin finished fifth at the Singha-Krungthai Junior Golf Ranking event (March 21-23, 2025) with a 73-72-71
She earned second place at the Singha Junior Golf Central Ranking event (Feb. 9, 2025) with a 75. She carded runner-up finish at the TGA Singha-Krungthai Junior Golf Ranking (Dec. 14-15, 2024).
Longwood opens the season Sept. 7-8 at the 2026 Tribe Invitational in Williamsburg, Va., at the Kingsmill River Course.
