FARMVILLE, Va. - Longwood head men's golf coach Kevin Fillman announced the addition of three student-athletes to the Lancer program ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Parker Brock (Walker, Minn. / Walker Hackensack Akeley / South Dakota State) and
Charlie Spiller (Richmond, Ky. / Lexington Catholic / Belmont) come to Longwood as sophomore transfers, while
Harrison Beaudoin (
Midlothian, Va. / Midlothian) joins the program after a standout junior career in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
"Coach Washburn and I are excited to add Parker, Charlie and Harrison to our golf program," Fillman said. "Both Parker and Charlie are terrific athletes, and I love the fact that each has excelled athletically in high-pressure situations in areas other than golf. That tells me neither will be fazed by anything they face on the golf course. At the same time, both have won big golf tournaments, were state champions in high school, which is an elite group to be in, both played and were successful in state- and national-level tournaments over the past few years, and both have gotten their feet wet in college golf as well.
"Harrison had a fantastic summer. In my opinion, he played his way into being one of the top junior players in Virginia over the past couple of months. The fact that a player of his caliber was still available late in the recruiting cycle is definitely a major win for us. Most importantly, all three have proven to me that they want to be Lancers and help us continue the winning tradition our golf team has enjoyed over the years. We are thrilled they've made that decision."
