- Graduate student goalkeeper Nicolas Pucci was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. He collected three of his four saves in the opening half on the way to posting a shutout win over USC Upstate on Sept. 26. Pucci, who recorded a season-high eight saves at UNC Asheville in the Big South Opener on Sept. 19, ranks fourth in the league in saves per game (3.75).
- It was the fourth weekly award of the season for the Lancers. Sophomore Youssef Shafei (Aug. 24) and Brando Bedolla (Aug. 31) earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors each of the first two weeks. Freshman
Levon Saribekyan was named the league's freshman of the week on Sept. 7 after tallying a hat trick at ETSU.
- Junior Joshwa Campbell was called up to the Cayman Islands National Team ahead of the CONCACAF Nations League last week. Campbell has started the first three games for the Cayman Islands in Group A against Dominica, Guyana, and Puerto Rico. They will square off for a second time against Puerto Rico on Sunday, Oct. 4, to close out the October International window.
- Campbell, Bedolla, and Saribekyan were among seven forwards selected to the Big South Conference Midseason Watch List on Sept. 17. In total, 27 student-athletes were honored. Bedolla was also named to the preseason list.
- The Lancers remain one of the top offenses in the country. Longwood ranks seventh nationally assists per game (2.89), 10th in scoring (2.56), and 11th in points per game (8.0). The Lancers are second in the Big South in all three categories as well. They rank 23rd nationally in shot accuracy with 49.6% of their shots coming on goal.
- Bedolla is one of the top playmakers in the country. He leads the nation in total assists (9) and assists per game (1.29), while ranking third in points per game (2.43) and seventh in total points (17). He has four multiple assists games this season and scored a goal in each of Longwood's first four games. He was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31 after totaling a goal and three assists in a win over Coastal Carolina and the game-winner in the victory over Southern Virginia.
- Campbell and Saribekyan lead Longwood with five goals apiece. They rank fourth in the Big South and 38th nationally in goals per game (0.63). Campbell also has two game-winning goals which ranks 21st nationally.
- Longwood jumped out to its best Division I start in school history at 5-0 and along the way earned its first vote in program history in the United Soccer Coaches National Top 25 this season.
