- Longwood and USC Upstate played to a 2-2 draw down in Spartanburg last season. The last time in teams met in Farmville, the Lancers tallied an impressive 8-2 win over the Spartans in 2024.  
 

- The Lancers remain one of the top offenses in the country, despite being shutout in the last three games. Longwood ranks ninth nationally totals assists (23), 10th in total points (65), and 11th in total goals total goals (21). The Lancers are second in the Big South in all three categories as well. They rank 14th nationally in shot accuracy with 51.4% of their shots coming on goal.  

- In the Big South opener at UNC Asheville, graduate student goalkeeper Nicolas Pucci totaled eight saves. It marked the second-highest total of his career. Pucci ranks fifth in the Big South in total saves with 26.  

- Junior forward Brando Bedolla, who returned to the Lancer lineup at UNC Asheville, ranks second in the country in assists (7), while ranking seventh in total points (15). He was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31 after totaling a goal and three assists in a win over Coastal Carolina and the game-winner in the victory over Southern Virginia.  

- Junior forward Joshwa Campbell leads Longwood with five goals on the year. He ranks 25th nationally and third in the Big South in goals.  

- Campbell, Bedolla, and freshman Levon Saribekyan were among seven forwards selected to the Big South Conference Midseason Watch List last week. In total, 27 student-athletes were honored. Bedolla was also named to the preseason list.   

- Longwood jumped out to its best Division I start in school history at 5-0 and along the way earned its first vote in program history in the United Soccer Coaches National Top 25 this season.
