FARMVILLE, Va.- The Longwood Lancers (2-6, 0-1) will travel for a conference matchup against James Madison University Dukes (6-3, 1-0) in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Friday night. Sunday, the Lancers return home to face the Bellarmine Knights (0-7, 0-1). 
 
James Madison currently is tied for first in the conference standings, and Bellarmine is tied with Longwood for sixth. 
 
Historical Matchups:
  • The Dukes have faced the Lancers 29 times going into this weekend.
  • James Madison leads the matchup 24-4-1.
  • The Dukes won the most recent meeting against Longwood 2-0at Elizabeth Burger Jackson field.

  • The Lancer junior scored three of the four last weekend.
  • She tallied two of the team's three goals against Ball State for her first collegiate multi-goal effort, and she added one more in a 1-0 win over William & Mary.
 
Can't Stop Sophie:
  • Sophie Mooldijk (2-6) has stood tall in goal for Longwood, playing every minute of the regular season.
  • In eight games, she has made 69 saves, allowing only 26 goals, for a save percentage of 0.726.
