WHAT THEY SAID:
"Today was the start for the next step for Longwood Track & Field, and I couldn't be more proud of what the team did over the last two days," said Longwood Director of Cross Country and Track & Field
Brooke Craig. "December meets are just a check-in to see where you're at before winter break, and the team is looking better than they ever have. I'm looking forward to the rest of this season."
"Also, I wanted to give a shout out to my assistant coach, Jacob Torres, who has raised the bar for Longwood sprints, jumps and hurdles in just his first meet," Craig added about her first-year assistant coach who joined the program this summer.
