2025-26: Ran in 11 track meets … Posted a career-best 2:38.52 in the 1,000m at the 2025 Liberty Kick Off (Dec. 4-5) that was also the third fastest indoor time in team history … Part of the second-fastest indoor DMR in team history with a combined team time of 10:46.07 at the Darius Dixon Memorial (Feb. 13-14) … Part of the fastest indoor DMR in team history at the 2026 Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 27-28) with a 10:39.65 … Ran a personal best in the 400m at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational (March 27-28) with a 51.27 that was the fourth-fastest time in team history … Posted the third-fastest time in team history in the 800m at the 2026 Big South Outdoor Championships (May 11-13) with a 1:54.84.
 
2025: Ran in seven meets during the indoor and outdoor season and placed top 10 in six meets … Holds the third-fastest 800m time in the team record books … At the Brant Tolsma Invitational (Jan. 23-25), placed eighth in the 4x400 (3:27.85) ... At the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational (2/14-15/25), placed eighth in the distance medley relay (11:08.85) ... At the Richmond Fred Hardy Invitational (March 20-21), placed sixth in the 4x400 (3:31.66)...At the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational (March 28-29), placed second in the 4x400 (3:31.66) ... At the 2025 Colonial Relays (April 3-5), placed ninth in the distance medley relay (10:41.07) ... At the Big South Championship (May 12-14), placed fifth in the 4x400 (3:16.79) and ran a career-best time of 1:55.02 in the 800m that was the third-fastest time in team history.
 
High School: Lettered in indoor and outdoor track twice, cross country once, soccer twice, and basketball once … Helped lead Warhill High School to the Outdoor Track and Indoor Track Bay Rivers District Championships in 2024 … Helped the team win the Outdoor Track VHSL Region 4A Championship and the Bay Rivers District Title in 2023 … As a senior, was All-Region and All-State in the 400M while winning the district title with a 50.38 … All-region and a state qualifier in the 800M with a 1:58.91 … Also in indoor, was the district, region and state champion with a 1:06.15 while also earning all-district and all-region honors in the 300M with a 36.59 … State qualifier in cross country with a 18:09.0 5K … In his junior season, was part of the 4x400M relay team that was state with a 3:20.60 … Also qualified for state in the 800M and finished second in the region with a 2:02.52 … All-district with a 52.88 in the 400M in outdoor track … In indoor, all-state (finished fifth) in the 4x400M relay while winning the district, and was also all-district in the 300M and 500M while earning all-region honors in the 500M.
 
Personal: Son of Owen and Abbie Martin … Has a twin sister, Hannah, who is also attending Longwood … Great aunt, Brenda Frady, is a Longwood alum from 1981 … Father, Owen, played football at both Chowan and Methodist College … Aspires to become a physician assistant in the future.
