WHAT THEY SAID:
"We just didn't get going today and were never able to apply any pressure to the leaders, but hats off to North Alabama," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "We spent 54 holes together, and those guys proved to be very solid. It's difficult to make birdies when we're not making any putts, and we needed to make birdies to make a charge. That was pretty much the story the entire time down here. We hit a lot of good putts that just didn't drop. We'll get back home and get back to work so we're better in a couple weeks."
UP NEXT:
Longwood has a break before heading to the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate on March 4-5.
