HOW IT HAPPENED:
Â

Â
Jordan posted back-to-back rounds below par to start the spring, and he was tied for the third-best score on par 5s in the field. He led the team with eight birdies while also carding 23 pars.
Â
Larue continued his strong season with back-to-back 71s, and he too was consistent through his first two rounds. He fired 15 pars in the final round to go with two birdies, and he had three birdies on his first 18 holes. He is tied for 11
th.
Â
Daniel George posted matching 73s to card a top 25 day. He had 15 pars in his final 18 holes.

Â
WHAT THEY SAID:
Â
"Today was definitely a mixed bag," said Longwood Head Coach
Kevin Fillman. "We had plenty of good stretches, but there were a number of other times where it looked like we hadn't played tournament golf in a few months. We made a lot of mistakes and had some unforced errors, which is both discouraging and encouraging at the same time. It's discouraging because we are 10 shots back and would be much closer to the lead, if not in the lead, had we only lost shots to execution. It's encouraging in the sense that, once we clean those things up, we know we can win the golf tournament. Our plan is to go give it our best run tomorrow."
