The First Pitch:
  • Longwood begins the regular season with a three-game homestand against Siena College.

  • The two pitchers combined for an ERA last season of 3.90 while holding opponents to a .222 batting average.
  • Dominick D'Ercole served in a closing role a season ago for the Lancers in the bullpen. He finished sixth in the conference for total saves at 4.
