HOW IT HAPPENED:

th behind an incredibly consistent round. She had two birdies and 13 pars, and she posted a run of eight straight holes at par or better in the middle of the round.
Â
Grace Huffman stayed put in 10
th by carding a 77 for the second day in a row. She posted 12 pars and one birdie in her second round.
Â
Emma Landis also matched her opening day score with a second straight 78, which allowed her to climb one spot higher into a tie for 16
th. She closed strong and posted seven pars and a birdie in her final nine holes after shaking off a slow start.
Â
Peyton Schaffer tallied a 79 to finish the day tied for 16
th with Landis, and
Ester Choi knocked five strokes off her opening day score to move up into 39
th.
Â
