Colton Konvicka had a monstrous night at the plate in Wednesday's visit to North Carolina A&T. The leadoff man went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, his first home run of the season and three RBI.

Connar Bastaich has hit in eight-straight games, the longest such streak for any Lancer this season.
• Longwood launched a season-high six extra-base hits in Wednesday's 10-5 win at N.C. A&T. Konvicka had three of those, while
C.J. Roth doubled and Mike Osinski and
Sammy Miller hit their first-career triples.

Allen Ellis put on one of the most impressive relief appearances you will see this season. The right-hander faced eight batters in 2 2/3 innings, striking out seven-consecutive Aggies to end his night.
• Senior ace
Aaron Myers is now just 10 punchouts away from second place on Longwood's all-time leaderboard. The Lancers' Friday starter fanned 10 Buccaneers in last season's meeting.
