2016: Made five appearances with one start ... went 1-1 with a 12.96 ERA and one save in 8.1 innings pitched ... struck out eight batters with three walks ... picked up three-inning save at Charleston Southern (4/4) ... struck out four batters at Duke (5/10).

2015: Made 17 appearances out of the bullpen … went 2-1 with a 8.71 ERA and picked up one save in 20.2 innings pitched … struck out 19 batters in 91 ABs … struck out a season-high seven batters across 2.2 perfect innings against North Carolina A&T (3/18) … lasted a season-long three innings with no runs allowed and struck out four batters at Campbell (3/14) … had seven scoreless outings … went two innings or longer five times..

2014: Made 15 appearances with nine starts ... recorded a 4.84 ERA and struck out 29 batters.

2013: Made seven appearances … finished with a 9.88 ERA in 13.2 innings pitched and 12 strikeouts … fourth on team with four games finished.

High School: Standout at Hanover … helped team to district title as a senior, earning five wins and picked up one save with a 2.31 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 30.1 innings … also played basketball for three years.

Personal: Son of Amber and Mark Ellis … played 2012 American Legion baseball.

Academics: Majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
