GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Longwood University men's tennis team lost a 5-2 decision at UNC Greensboro (6-3) in Greensboro, North Carolina Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore

Jimmy Davis|Manassas (Stonewall Jackson) were successful across the board, winning their No. 1 doubles match 8-6 as well as No. 2 singles 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) and No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-1, respectively. The Lancers (3-4) are back Sunday, March 13 at 11 a.m. in Conway, South Carolina against Coastal Carolina.

Crescente Lesser|Santiago, Chile (La Reina) went down 8-2 in No. 3 doubles. Tanaka also lost at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0, and Lesser fell in the No. 3 slot 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (12-10). At No. 5 singles, Barajas-Alexander dropped a 7-5, 6-0 decision as Becker lost by two, 6-3 tallies at No. 6.
