FARMVILLE, Va. – The Longwood University field hockey team placed four student-athletes on the 2009 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. Junior
Andrea Bastiaanse/Granby, Conn. (Granby Memorial), sophomores
Olga Knop/Berlin, Germany (Werner-von-Siemens Gymnasium) and
Bailey Rampey/Fredericksburg (Courtland) and freshman
Taylor Bender/Harrisburg, Pa. (Central Dauphin) were recognized for having a 3.30 GPA through the first semester of the 2009-10 academic year.
“We are very proud of Andrea, Taylor, Bailey and Olga,” said Longwood head coach
