BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Longwood University dropped a men's tennis match 6-1 to Campbell University on Friday in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Freshman Nobu Tanaka/Potomac, Md. (St. Johns College) earned the only win for the Lancers, winning at #3 (7-6 (8), 6-4). Longwood fell to 10-8 while Campbell improved to 13-10. The Lancers return to the court on Saturday, April 11, for their final match of the season, hosting Howard University at 1 p.m.

In other singles action, senior Carlos Garcia de Andoain/Madrid, Spain (Liceo Sorolla 'C') fell at #1 (4-6, 1-6), senior Brandon Lindsley/Woodbridge (Woodbridge) lost at #2 (4-6, 1-6), junior David Cardoso/Porto, Portugal (Externato Lumen) fell at #4 (6-2, 4-6, 3-6), junior Billy Heird/York, Pa. (Dallastown) lost at #5 (1-6, 6-7 (1)) and junior Andres Lazarte/Vienna (San Miguel) fell at #6 (3-6, 7-6 (7), 3-10).

The Lancers dropped all three doubles matches. Heird and sophomore Milo Barajas-Alexander/Arlington (Bishop O'Connell) lost at #1 (7-8 (3)), Garcia de Andoain and Cardoso fell at #2 (3-8), and Tanaka and Lindsley lost at #3 (4-8).
