McHugh scored 18 goals in three games last week as the Lancers went 3-0 in conference play to climb to third place in the Big South standings. She scored five goals in a 10-6 win over Campbell Monday, notched a career-high eight in a 21-7 win at Presbyterian Friday and capped her week with five goals and two assists in a 24-2 blowout of Gardner-Webb Sunday.

The performance pushed McHugh to the top of Longwood's goals leaderboard and bumped Longwood's Big South record to 3-1, tied with High Point for third in the league.
