FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University sophomore Lucas Woodhouse has been named the Longwood Male ARMS Software Athlete of the Week. He started two games last week, averaging 20.0 points, 7.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals while making 16-26 field goals (62%), including 8-13 three-point field goals (62%), while playing 72 minutes (36.0). The 6-1 guard had a career-high and game-high 27 points, making 10-16 field goals, including 7-10 three-pointers, also a career-high, while adding four assists during a 69-66 home win past Liberty on January 22, followed by a 13-point, 10-assist, three-steal and four-rebound effort at Charleston Southern on Jan. 25 for his fifth double-double during an 88-85 road win. Lucas now totals 338 career assists to rank fifth all-time.
