The men are scheduled to compete at 5:50 p.m., followed by the women at 6:30 p.m.

"This Friday is going to have a very competitive field. On the women's side, we're coming off of a top-5 finish, and we're hoping to duplicate that or improve it. The women did a great job pack running at the Eyeopener and that's the same plan they have for Friday. On the men's side, we were missing two of our top scoring five (Aj Koval and Jaiden Santos Nguyen) in the first meet and both will be making their season debut. With their return, we're expecting a tighter pack at the front."

Who to Watch
• Junior Sophie Farley enters the adidas XC Challenge as the owner of the fastest 5K and 6K times in Longwood women's cross country history. Farley ran 17:34.5 in the 5K and 20:54.5 in the 6K during the 2025 season. She opened the 2026 campaign with a 10th-place finish at the USC Upstate Eye Opener in 18:01.90 and was named the Big South Runner of the Week.
• Junior Kirsten Morley enters Friday's meet ranked third in the program's 6K record book with a time of 22:11.0 and sixth in the 5K at 18:36.6. Morley opened the season with a 39th-place finish at the Eye Opener in 19:40.39.
• Senior Clinton Clancy ranks second in Longwood's 8K record book with a time of 25:09.2, fourth in the 6K at 19:28.3 and fourth in the 10K at 33:15.4. Clancy opened the 2026 season with a 49th-place finish at the USC Upstate Eye Opener, running 27:11.5.
• Sophomore AJ Koval owns the third-fastest 8K in Longwood history at 25:27.7, the third-fastest 6K at 19:19.6, and the second-fastest 10K at 33:06.6. Koval will look to build on Longwood's season-opening performance at the adidas XC Challenge.
