THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood returns home to host Radford on Saturday, with Farm Bureau Insurance sponsoring Local Business Day at the Joan Perry Brock Center. The game is sold out, marking the third sellout of the season.
•    The Lancers are 11-1 at home this season, continuing a trend that has seen them be tough to beat in Farmville under head coach Griff Aldrich.
•    This season, the Lancers have averaged 82.3 points per game, six better than their average on the road, in the friendly confines of the Joan Perry Brock Center.
•    Longwood has held opponents to 66 points per game in the Joan Perry Brock Center as well.
•    Home court has been critical in the Big South, with home teams winning a nation-best 72 percent of their games (32-12).
•    The Lancers take on a Radford team that is tied for the Big South lead in true road wins, with five.
•    The Highlanders lead the Big South in scoring defense in Big South play.
 
LAST TIME OUT
•    Longwood fell in a back-and-forth shootout at Charleston Southern on Saturday, February 1.
•    Jaylen Benard scored a career best 14 points, and Kyrell Luc matched him with 14 points.
•    Both Michael Christmas and Elijah Tucker scored in double figures as well, with 11 points apiece.
•    All nine players that played, scored, for Longwood. Every player also had at least five points.
•    Charleston Southern countered with four in double figures, with a game-high 28 points from Daylen Berry. RJ Johnson added 22, and Taje' Kelly chipped in 20.
•    The Bucs hit a season-best 13 triples and shot 56 percent from the floor.
•    The game was tight throughout the contest, but a 10-4 surge by Charleston Southern put the Bucs ahead for good in the waning minutes of the game.

•    At 11-1 at home, Longwood has won at least 11 home games for a fourth straight season.
•    The last time Longwood won at least 10 home games in four straight seasons was from 1985-86 to 1989-90, when the team posted five straight seasons with at least 10 home wins.
•    Longwood has won at least 10 home games five times in seven seasons under head coach Griff Aldrich.
•    In non-conference play, Longwood made 94 threes in 15 games (6.3), but shot 29.9 percent from downtown.
•    That number has jumped to 7.4 threes per game in conference action, and the team is shooting .399 from three over nine Big South games.
•    Michael Christmas has hit 29 of the 67 triples, a cool 43 percent of Longwood's threes.
•    Christmas is also shooting 43.3 percent from three in Big South play and has hit at least three threes seven times in nine games.
•    Five teams in the Big South are in the top 200 of the NCAA Net rankings, with Longwood third in the league at 174.
•    The Big South is ranked 16th of the 31 conferences in the Kenpom ratings, the highest the conference has ever been ranked.
•    Longwood is one of only 28 teams outside the Power conferences who have won at least 20 games in back-to-back-to-back seasons.
•    The Lancers lead the league in three point percentage defense (.321), and the Lancers have held an opponent to 30 percent or less 13 times this season.
•    The Lancer defense also leads the Big South in turnovers forced per game (15.3-23rd nationally) and second in the league in turnover margin (+3.5-29th nationally).
