Longwood Men Hit the Road, Take on Radford

First of Two Straight Road Contests Begins Saturday for Lancer Basketball

OPENING TIP
•    Longwood hits the road for the first of back-to-back road games with their trip to Radford on Saturday.
•    The Lancers have won three straight and scored 80 points or more in all three wins.
•    Longwood has hit at least 10 threes in a game three times this season, including twice in their past three games.
•    The Lancers are tied for fifth in the Big South standings, and 1.5 games separates fifth from ninth.

•    Longwood will play its 14th road game of the season on Saturday afternoon.
•    The Lancers have five true road wins, tied for the third most in the Big South.
•    Longwood has five true road wins for the fifth time in six seasons under Head Coach Griff Aldrich. The team had never won five true road games in the prior 15 years to his arrival.
•    The team's 63 wins in the past three seasons are three shy of the top mark in team history. The Lancers notched 66 wins over three seasons from 1978-81.
•    The Lancers are also guaranteed to have a winning record for a third straight season for the first time in three decades. The last time the Lancers achieved the feat was from 1992-95. This is also the third time the Lancers have had three straight winning seasons in team history, with the longest streak being six straight seasons from 1978-84.
•    All nine players that played, scored on Wednesday against UNC Asheville. It is the fourth time this season the Lancers have had a game where every player that checked in also recorded points.
•    Seven different players have led the team in scoring in a game this season, and five different players have scored at least 20 points in a game.

•    Longwood has won the turnover battle 15 times this season and is 12-3 when winning the turnover battle.
