FARMVILLE, Va. – Dr. Megan Brown announced the Longwood softball fall exhibition schedule on Tuesday.
 
The Lancers will play on four dates during the months of September and October, and the team will play teams from across the state of Virginia.
 
Longwood begins its fall slate of games on Saturday, September 16 with a trip to Liberty.
 
The Lancers then close the month of September by hosting Randolph College on Saturday, September 30.
 
In October, Longwood heads to Hampton (Saturday, October 14) and James Madison (Saturday, October 21).
 
Longwood is coming off a 2023 campaign that saw it claim a share of the Big South regular season title, and the team advanced to the Big South Championship Game, finishing as runners up in the Big South Tournament. The team returns 11 players while bringing eight newcomers into the fold.
