FARMVILLE, Va. – Saturday, Longwood athletics and the alumnae of the Longwood chapter of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority have joined forces to organize a fundraiser for the FACES Food Pantry.
 
The Threes for FACES donation pledge provides fans the opportunity to pledge a donation for each three-pointer the Lancer men's basketball team makes against UNC Asheville on Saturday, Feb. 25. Fans can choose a set amount or write in their own choice on a pledge card at the game.
 
FACES Food Pantry is a local "Tier 1" Food Agency that provides food to households in need throughout the greater Farmville community. The agency distributes more than 510 tons of food annually and provides food to more than 800 individuals per week.
