•The Lancers and Highlanders played at Radford in 2017 with similar conditions, playing a single game March 24 and a doubleheader March 25 to wrap the series.
•After Radford took the first two games of the series, the Lancers busted out to a 7-1 win in game three, outhitting Radford, 14-7.
Zach Potojecki struck out nine batters in 5.1 innings out of the bullpen to earn the win.
•Radford is led in hitting by the second-leading hitter in the Big South, Andrew Szamski, who has a .387 average. A transfer from Concord (W. Va.), Szamski sat out 2017 as a Division I transfer and wasted no time in getting acclimated to the Radford lineup in 2018, picking up Big South Player of the Week honors after the opening weekend of the season.
•Szamski is Radford's only .300 hitter and leads the Big South with three triples. The redshirt-junior outfielder is third in the conference in hits and total bases and also leads the team with 16 extra-base hits.
•Ryan Sande leads Radford with a 3.90 ERA in seven starts and has struck out 17 batters and 18 walks in 30.0 innings.
•Colby Higgerson has collected the only two saves fr the team and hasn't allowed a run in 2.2 innings across three outings.
