FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood athletics is excited to announce that registration for the Little Lancer Kids Club presented by Longwood Dining Services is now open for the 2017-18 season.

The Little Lancers Kids Club is open to children in grades eight or lower and provides members with a t-shirt, free admission to Longwood home games, invitations to members-only tailgate parties and postgame clinics with members of Longwood's athletic teams. Membership for the group costs $20 with available discount opportunities for multiple memberships, while a special $10 early registration fee is available to those who sign up by July 1.

Returning for Little Lancer Kids Club members at Longwood athletics events this year will be the interactive fan zone. With the club reaching its sixth year in existence, all loyal members who have been in the program for each of the past five years will receive special recognition during the 2017-18 basketball season.

A program that aims to provide the youth of Farmville and their family members an enhanced Longwood game day experience, the Little Lancers Kids Club looks to establish and cultivate relationships between Longwood student-athletes, Longwood University and the local community. All Little Lancer Kids Club events take place in a fun and safe learning environment at the family-friendly athletic events hosted on Longwood's campus.
