Leading Off
•Longwood wraps up the season with three games at Campbell. The Lancers finish a stretch with six straight games in conference, all in the state of North Carolina.
•Longwood enters the weekend in last place with the final series at Campbell.
•Longwood can clinch a spot in the Big South Tournament by sweeping the three-game series. If the Lancers lose any game, they will be eliminated.

Last Time Out
•Longwood dropped two out of three at UNC Asheville. The three starters, Cody Wager, Steven Farkas, and Zach Potojecki, each picked up at least seven strikeouts in the series as the Lancers struck out 30 batters in the three-game series.
•Longwood leads the Big South, setting a school record with 481 strikeouts.
•Freshman outfielder Antwaun Tucker was named the Come Ready Nutrition Freshman of the Week, the second time he's collected the award.

By The Numbers
Zach Potojecki struck out a career-best 13 batters at Savannah State on 3/3, one shy of the school record for a single game. Potojecki is second on the team with three 10-strikeout games.
Cody Wager struck out 10 batters at UNC Wilmington 3/11 and was magical again with 10 strikeouts in 8.1 shutout innings vs. Charleston Southern 3/18, taking a no-hitter two outs into the eighth. Wager then struck out a career-high 13 batters in a complete game win against Presbyterian 4/13. Wager leads the squad with four 10-strikeout games.
•Longwood leads the conference with 481 punchouts, breaking the previous school D-I record of 440 in 2015.
•Wager leads the Big South with 82 strikeouts and Potojecki is second with 79. Potojecki is 12th in the country with 12.05 strikeouts per nine innings.
•Longwood is 3rd in the country with 9.9 strikeouts per nine innings as a team.
•Freshman outfielder Antwaun Tucker picked up his second Big South Freshman of the Week Award on May 15. He won his first on April 24.
In the week starting 4/17, Tucker hit .375 with two home runs, picked up four RBI, and stole three bases. 
•On 4/21 Tucker hit a game-tying homer to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning in Longwood's walk-off win against Winthrop.
In the week beginning 5/8 Tucker hit .400 with a 1.038 OPS and six runs scored.
Cody Wager picked up his second Big South Pitcher of the Week honors on April 17. Wager won his first of the season on March 20.
•On 4/13 against Presbyterian Wager went the distance, spinning a complete game and picking up the win in Longwood's 2-1 walk-off victory. Wager struck out a career-high 13 batters and retired the final 11 hitters of the game. Wager did not allow an earned run.
•On 3/18 against Charleston Southern, Wager came within four outs of a no-hitter, striking out 10 batters in 8.1 innings of three-hit, shutout ball.
•Longwood has placed around the top 30 in several statistical categories in the NCAA.

Scouting Campbell
•Longwood and Campbell meet in Buies Creek, N.C., with the Lancers needing to sweep the series to clinch the final spot in the 2017 Big South Baseball Tournament.
•Campbell enters as the second-best offense in the league, second in the Big South in on-base percentage, runs scored, and runs batted in. Campbell leads the league in doubles and steals. 
•The Fighting Camels sit 16th in the NCAA with 86 stolen bases behind senior infielder Drew Butler's 36 swipes, which are the second most in the NCAA. Butler is third on the team with a .310 batting average and leads the team with 49 runs scored.
•Redshirt-freshman outfielder Matthew Barefoot has come onto the scene strong, leading the team with a .343 batting average, has a team-high 22 doubles, and leads the team with 46 RBI and 119 total bases. Barefoot leads the Big South with 73 hits, leads the conference in doubles and total bases, is fourth in the league in batting average, and third in the league in RBI.
•Junior outfielder Jeff Hahs paces the team with 10 home runs and is second with a .561 slugging percentage, hitting .316 on the season.
•Redshirt senior outfielder Cole Hallum is tied for the team lead with 10 homers, leads the squad with 50 RBI, the second highest total in the conference, and leads the team lead with a .571 slugging percentage.
