NCAA SOUTHEAST REGIONAL RESULTS (PDF)
EARLYSVILLE, Va. -- Junior
Nick Reed/Fairfax ran a new school-record 10K time of 32:58 on Friday to lead Longwood University men's cross country to a 34th place finish with 991 points at the 2013 NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by the University of Virginia at the Panorama Farms in Earlysville. Eastern Kentucky University won the race with its 58 points, while Paul Chelimo of UNC Greensboro was the individual winner with his time of 28:37. Longwood completed its season with the regional competition.

Nick Reed finished 179th overall among the 239 runners, and was followed by freshman
Robert Willis/Ashburn (33:25, 197th), junior
Russell Reed/Onemo (34:09, 211th), along with freshmen
Mark Sohl/Burke (34:35, 218th),
Shea Pennington/Richmond (35:28, 223rd), and
Johnny Leder/Amelia (35:29, 224th). In addition to
Nick Reed's record time, Willis posted the second-fastest 10K in the program's history and
Russell Reed's time is the sixth-fastest all-time.
Longwood could return as many as nine lettermen for 2014.
