BRONX, N.Y. -- Longwood University posted 398 points to finish 16th among 16 teams Saturday at the 103rd IC4A Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York. Binghamton University took first place in the University Division race with 35 points, and Fordham University runner Julian Saad was the individual winner with his time of 25:28. Freshman
Trey Thomas|Stafford (Mountain View) led the Lancers with his 28:02 over the 8000-meter course to finish 76th among 139 runners. Longwood completed its 2011 campaign with the competition in New York City.
